Canadian singer-songwriter Abby J Hall is here to bring a little bit of joy to our ears during this whirlwind of a spring.

Hall’s latest release “Little Things,” which dropped earlier this month, is the perfect pick me up track to push you out of your head and onto a mini dance floor (even if that floor is just your bedroom carpet, if you too are quarantining).

With pure positivity and innocence radiating through each verse, this song remind us to “hold tight to the little things” – a much needed reminder in the world’s current state of uncertainty.

After beginning her songwriting career at the young age of 11, Hall has grown up turning life’s moments into stories and thus into music. “Little Things,” is no different- telling the story of a young love that is turning from an innocent crush into a potentially serious and lasting romance.

With a very catchy percussive beat as the driving force, the song is impossible not to dance to as you bob your head along to Hall’s melodic voice.

And not only does the track itself make us smile, but the music video as well.

Starring Hall as a waitress who has a crush on her co-worker, the track follows the singer on her journey from grooving in the back room with headphones on to taking center stage with the house band.

As for if the couple end up together? You’ll have to watch to find out.

You can stream “Little Things” now, wherever you stream music, and stay tuned with all of Abby Hall’s upcoming releases by following her on social media.
