Meet the Team

Welcome to Second Society Report.
We are a Boston based music blog dedicated to giving you honest reviews and unbiased news.
With a growing group of talented contributors in addition to our two founders, Second Society Report is slowly growing from a two person operation run out of a Brighton apartment to a worldwide publication.
We cover music of all genres and stories about all areas of music news.

Kendal is your average music appreciator based near Boston. She found a passion for writing as she loves to introduce people to new ideas, thoughts, and perspectives. Writing about music brings her two favorite worlds together – enjoying music and sharing it with others.
Her music taste spans many genres, decades, and movements. After all she was the only 6-year-old on the playground listening to The Clash.

Keru is a music business graduate with a passion for writing. She decided to devote more time to this hobby after spending a year teaching in China and solo travelling through South East Asia. She is currently based in Nairobi and hoping to share what the local music scene has to offer.

    Noah Wade is an aspiring singer-songwriter and music journalist from Long Island, New York. He graduated from SUNY Purchase in late 2018 with a degree in journalism and is set to begin his masters degree in entertainment business online through Full Sail University at the start of the new year. He is a self-proclaimed “music nerd” and, during “normal” times, he is an avid concert-goer, attending shows in the New York area and other northeast cities. You can follow him on Twitter @njwade_.

    Patricia is an aspiring filmmaker from Chicago. Her passion for storytelling and entertainment news drives her interest in writing. She never leaves the house without a pair of headphones and can be found listening to anything from film soundtracks to country duets at any given time.

    Jen is a full time at a local venue, but when she’s not helping run the box office, she’s either attending a show or writing about it.

    With a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Emerson College, Jen’s background includes four years of studying journalism along with a degree in screenwriting, an internship and many bylines at E! News, and an undying love of all things pop-punk.

    Mike
    Founder, Photographer
    Mike is a full time student and part time employee at several local venues. But when he’s not studying biochemistry, selling tickets, or confiscating fake I.Ds, he’s most likely at a show trying to grab the best photo of your mutual favorite band.

    With a passion for music from a young age, Mike is Second Society’s resident musician. With a knack for guitar, drums, and piano, Mike’s passion lies in playing the bass. With a few bands under his belt and plenty of song writing down, he is the guru on all things heavy and groovy.
