It is officially the end of 2019, and that means it is finally time for everyone’s yearly Albums of the Year compilations.
And in honor of Second Society Report approaching our one year anniversary this Holiday Season, we are excited to share our top ten favorite albums of the past year.

Jen’s Top Ten of 2019
Picking a favorite album is like picking a favorite pet. It’s hard to do, and harder to admit. Especially when every album on my top ten list spent days on repeat, becoming their own exclusive soundtrack to my life for weeks at a time.
However, at the end of the day (and year), these ten releases reigned supreme, and I am so thankful for all of them.

Michael’s Top 10 of 2019
This year has been huge for a lot of my favorite artists and for the new artists I’ve discovered. It was tough to decide which artists deserved a spot in the top 10 but what it ultimately came down to was asking “which artists moved you the most?” and that was the beginning of the list. From club hits by Karma Fields, all the way metalcore by Crown The Empire, the disparity in genres is not only noticeable but inevitable.
While it was tough to choose a top 10 (sorting them is a whole other story) there was some that had a tendency to stick out farther than the rest and with that, I give you my list of albums/EPs of the year.
