After releasing their sophomore album Finding God Before God Finds Me in 2019, metalcore band Bad Omens have been hard at work continually giving fans new content despite the current state of the music industry.

With an inability to tour putting previous plans for 2020 on hold, the band took to the studio to re-release some of their favorite FGBGFM singles as acoustic renditions- debuting FGBGFM Unplugged in October.

And now, to keep up with the hype and help keep fans fed with new releases into the new year, the band have continued on their Unplugged series with a new music video for “Burning Out.”

Filmed in Yosemite during a group getaway, the new video showcases vocalist Noah Sebastian and guitarist Joakim Karlsson as they play through the track- adding an extra layer of emotional intensity both due to the acoustic nature and the video’s visual tone.

“Toward the end of last year, we went to Yosemite with our roommates and our good friend Dana to clear our heads and get away from the madness that is LA, even more so in a pandemic,” Sebastian shared. “After what felt like the shortest year ever once touring was shut down, it was a breath of fresh air (literally) to get out of the house again and to such a beautiful place, no less.”

“On our last day we drove around Bass Lake and found a pull off with an amazing fall view. Still having an acoustic video to shoot, as well as Orie and Dana and their cameras, and an acoustic guitar, we figured what better way to immortalize the memory of that moment and trip than to shoot it there on the spot.”
