If you haven’t heard of Bears In Trees yet you are about to.

The four piece “ukulele pop-punk” band hailing from Croydon, UK are making waves across the pond and now have put out another release that is sure to gain them more attention in the US.

“I See Blue” which was released early this morning is the band’s latest EP- a five song album with tracks discussing all aspects of life- from falling in love to finishing school, and even drinking coffee too close to bedtime.

The EP, which is the band’s third release, follows their previous albums “Bits N’ Pieces” and “Just Five More Minutes.”

And while it is not their first or longest release, it is their most mature.

Created as members George Beary, Nick Peters, Iain Gillespie, and Callumn Litchfield we’re finishing up University, “I See Blue” was the band’s passion project- turning all of their real life experiences into relatable music that fans and new-commers alike could understand and connect with.

But we can’t explain it better than the band can.

“It’s about university. It’s about dumb parties and dumber decisions. It’s about losing the love of your life, and then finding a new love of your life, and then losing that love of your life five minutes later.

It’s about realising that sometimes you’re the problem. It’s about reminding yourself you shouldn’t drink coffee before bed. And most of all?

It’s about getting better.”
