Get ready to put your headphones in and dance, because Australian pop star Betty Who has released a new album- and it is full of upbeat dance tracks and synth pop beats.

With previous records “Take Me When You Go” (2014) and “The Valley” (2017) under her belt, “Betty” is Betty Who’s third studio album, and first album released as an independent artist after parting ways with her previous label RCA, in 2017.

Who, who’s real name is Jessica Anne Newham, released “Betty” as a full length follow up to her 2018 EP, “Betty: Part 1” which featured three songs off of “Betty” in addition to “Friend Like Me,” and “Look Back.”

While Who’s previous albums were heavily influenced by 80s synth-pop, “Betty” takes a step away from the synthesiser and towards the sounds of 90s pop stars, especially in the dance tracks “Taste” and “The One.”

The album also features some 90s R&B sounds in tracks like the “All This Woman” and “Do With It.”

Prior to the album’s release, Who starred alongside Two Feet as support for Panic! At The Disco’s recently completed second leg of their “Pray For The Wicked” Tour.

Performing songs like her recent single and “Betty” track “Taste” and her first release “Somebody Loves You,” Who helped to hype up the crowd and give Panic! Fans a taste of her soon to be released album.

And, luckily for new and old fans alike, the album seemed to live up to many expectations with fans from all over praising the pop star for her new release.
