Broadside are ready to turn 2020 around with the announcement of their brand new album “Into The Raging Sea.”

Announced yesterday, “Into The Raging Sea” will be the band’s first full length release since 2017’s “Paradise,” as well as their first record produced by Sharptone Records.

And while album doesn’t drop until July 24th, the band had another announcement up their sleeve this week- with a brand new single titled “The Raging Sea” dropping earlier this morning.

The new single, which features elements of pop, emo and alternative rock music, is the title single for the upcoming album.

With groovy instrumentals throughout the intro along with controlled but powerful vocals, the song increases in intensity and emotion as it goes on- channeling the band’s pop-punk roots.

The instrumental intensity is coupled with lyrics about feeling trapped and looking for a way out- pulling on listeners’ heart strings as the song progresses.

“The Raging Sea” is the second single released by the band this year, following “Foolish Believer” in March.
