It is another beautiful new music Friday, and that means today we have some brand new tunes to check out and add to our weekly playlists.
And while dozens of artists released new music this morning, we want to share our favorite release of the week: Brookline’s new EP “Where Do I Go From Here?”
Featuring previously released “Dive In” along three new tracks “Transparent,” “Day Trip,” and “Hold onto Me,” “Where Do I Go From Here?” is the Brookline’s third and greatest release to date.
An alternative rock EP with pop-punk influence, the four tracks discuss themes of growing up, facing hard times, and coping with the uncertainty of the future.
And with a mix of heavier instrumentally driven tracks “Dive In,” and “Transparent,” accompanied by the acoustic ballad “Day Trip,” and middle ground “Hold Onto Me,” the album offers a taste of something for everyone- regardless of your musical taste.
Brookline is a four piece pop-rock band consisting of vocalist Tommy Carter, drummer Chris Fox, and guitarists Mikey Pace and Dae Bennett.
Following the release of their debut EP “Crossroads” in 2018, Brookline began to pick up traction and soon prepared for the release of their 2019 EP, “Fade” after recruiting Carter as their new vocalist.
Since “Fade,” the band has become well known in their local scene, and have shared the stage with numerous high profile artists, including The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Calling All Captains.
And now, with the release of their best EP yet, “Where Do I Go From Here?” the band is working towards their inevitable status of a household name.
You can stream “Where Do I Go From Here?” now, and be sure to follow the band on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, to stay up-to-date on all things Brookline.
