Energetic pop duo Chapel are getting fans excited for their April EP this week with the release of yet another new single.

Released Friday, “WOW” is the third track to be released off of Room Service, following hits “First Love” and “Pillow Talk.” And keeping in theme with the previous tracks, “WOW” is a semi-love song about wanting to pursue a relationship with someone who really is only looking for a hookup.

Using the duo’s classic electro-pop vibes and high energy sound, the track is essentially a self call out and a call out post for anyone who has ever strung someone along solely for their own benefit.

“Kortney [Grinwis] & I wrote ‘WOW’ last summer,” vocalist Carter Hardin shares. “This song is about being led on and continuing to let it happen because you’ve got nothin’ better to do. It’s a self-aware and fun concept that we hope others can identify with.”

As for the “WOW” video, the band are seen switching up their instruments as they dance around a stock room in neon yellow hazard vests while surrounded by boxes. Self directed by the duo, the band shared via Twitter that they “shot it at [their] job lololol.”

And though the video is relatively simple in visuals, the clips of Hardin and Grinwis dancing around to the track get listeners hyped up and potentially ready to create their own “WOW” inspired music video at home.

You can stream “WOW” out now, and be sure to stay tuned for Room Service EP out April 23rd.
