Emo Nite LA is always a star studded event, but it seems as though their most recent event was as star studded as ever, as Demi Lovato finally made her return to the “emo” scene.
Last night, Lovato took to the Los Angeles Echoplex to attend Emo Nite LA’s “Emo Nite Family Reunion,” as part of the brand’s LA stop on their North American ‘tour.’
Joining fellow emo kid and lead singer of We The Kings, Travis Clark, Lovato helped hype up the crowd with some mixes and live renditions of the audience’s favorite emo tracks, including the forever favorites “Dear Maria Count Me In” by All Time Low and “I’m Not Okay” by My Chemical Romance.
Emo Nite marks one of the first times Lovato and Clark have reunited since their 2010 collaboration on the We The King’s song “We’ll Be A Dream.”
And, according to Lovato’s Instagram story, the reunion brought back some painful memories for Clark, as he showed off a Tattoo the “Body Say” singer had given him back in 2008.
“It was so painful,” he laughed. “You had such a heavy arm.”
Also in attendance at last night’s festivities was Pierce the Veil’s Vic Fuentes, who took a break from working on the band’s new album to lend his hand at DJing a set or two.
He even treated the crowd to a Jimmy Eat World sing along.
And, as if those celebrity sightings weren’t enough, Noah Cyrus and her friend Diablo also took to the turntables to help hype up the crowd.
The event also featured live music from the band Dead American and emo rapper Riley.
