Welcome back, Ms. Demi Lovato.

The 27-year-old pop star made her return to music earlier this evening during the 62nd GRAMMY Awards, where she performed for the first time since her overdose in July 2018.

And, as if if the fact she was performing wasn’t special enough, the songstress made her return with a brand new track titled “Anyone.”

Written the week prior to the singer’s overdose, “Anyone” is Lovato’s first release since 2018’s “Sober,” on which she revealed to fans that she had relapsed after six years clean from substance abuse.

“The lyrics took on a totally different meaning at the time I was recording it, I almost listen back and hear these lyrics as a cry for help. I even think I was recording it in a state of mind where I felt like I was okay but clearly i wasn’t.” Lovato shared with Zane Lowe earlier this week.

“I remember being in the hospital and thinking ‘If there is ever a moment I get to come back from this, I want to sing this song.'”

Now, after almost two years, living in a sober house and re-claiming her life, Lovato is ready to return to the entertainment business and we are so happy to have her back.

You can watch Demi’s tearful performance above, and be sure to stream “Anyone,” out now and catch Demi when she performs the National Anthem at the 54th Superbowl on February 2nd.
