Fresh off of her first Grammy Win, rap star Doechii has dropped a brand new single to remind everyone why she is an artist to watch.
Titled “Nosebleeds” the track asks the question “what will happen if Doechii doesn’t win the Grammy?” and boldly answers it with “I guess we’ll never know.”
Serving as almost a secondary Grammy Acceptance speech, set to a catchy hook and an earworm of a beat, the track acknowledges the singer’s trials and tribulations along her rise to fame and shouts out those who helped her get there- including her record label, her family, and her close friend/collaborator SZA, taking time to throw some digs at her haters along the way.
The first track to be released following her 2025 album Alligator Bites Never Heal, which won Doechii the Rap Album of the Year award this past Sunday and made her the third woman to ever win the award at only 26 years old, “Nosebleeds” is a reminder that you can achieve success regardless of any obstacles in your way and naysayers in your past. You just have to keep working, keep dreaming, and keep waving to the fans in the stands.
