If you are looking for an electro-pop track to help get your sprits lifted and push you through the weekend, look no further than Elephante’s new single, “Dopamine.”
The latest release to come from production expert and EDM maestro Tim Wu, better known as his stage name Elephante, “Dopamine” is an ode to grabbing life by the horns and living it to the fullest.
Using a mix of house inspired electronic beats and Wu’s smooth vocals with a slight indie pop feel, the track gives listeners the feeling of going for a night on the town and searching for their next “best night ever.” With relatable lyrics and a captivating vibe that makes you want to get up and groove immediately- the single left us itching to get back into the nightlife scene after a year of staying in our homes.
”’Dopamine’ is about desire, about scratching the itch,” Wu shares. “It’s about wanting to experience the world at its fullest- driving 150 mph down the highway, chasing your lover across the dance floor, taking that last shot that you know you probably shouldn’t- whatever it takes to make you feel something.”
And as Elephante’s third single to be released this year and the most recent glimpse into his upcoming sophomore album (which will release October 22nd) – this track has us feeling high hopes about what is to come.
