Go For Gold are yet another band that we didn’t know we needed until we found them. And now, we can’t get enough.
A five piece band from Arizona, Go For Gold are not your average pop-punkers.
While they provide listeners with the average pop-punk sound and instrumental themes, their music provides a sense of familiarity while also bringing unique lyrics and emotions to the table. And their latest release, “At Home,” is no exception.
“At Home,” which is the first song off of their upcoming EP “Color Me,” discusses the reality of coming to terms with needing help- especially when you have struggled for a bit of time.
With progressively heavier guitar and a chorus that pulls on a listener’s heartstrings, the track continues the band’s streak of honest songs, following their song “Let Me Go” which was released earlier this year and touches on the complexity of relationships.

“At Home” Lyrics:
(Here we go again)
I’m going back and forth
With the thoughts that keep
Me in my head, I
just wanna get some sleep
Nothing more than that
Lay my head back
Just close my eyes
And let it fade to black
But There’s more to this
This numbing pain
It tears apart
These picture frames
Holding you and me
For the world to see
Wrecking everything
Is what makes me, me
Pull out the cord that’s keeping me grounded
Lift my head up above the clouds
(To see clearly)
What’s the point of living with no feeling
I want to shed my skin
Breathe in life again
(I don’t feel at home in my head anymore)
I don’t feel at home
I don’t feel at all
