Grace Gillespie first landed on Second Society Report’s radar earlier this year with the release of her quarantine inspired single “Empty in the Capital.

Now, Gillespie has once more caught our attention with the release of her brand new song “Your God’s Within.”

Released Friday, “Your God’s Within” is a soft indie rock track inspired by Gillespie’s own battle with anxiety and attempting to ground herself despite the ever present feelings that something internal was fighting against her.

“My own struggle with anxiety served as this song’s inspiration,” Gillespie shared. “It’s lyrics are supposed to be reassuring, yet transformed into a worry about the fragility of our bodies. The flipside is just how miraculous it is to be alive everyday and during every moment.”

A hauntingly beautiful track with dark undertones contrasting Gillespie’s hopeful sounding vocals, “Your God’s Within” makes those who suffer with similar anxieties feel both understood and not alone.

And as the fourth single released by the singer this year, this track is also the first release from Gillespie’s upcoming EP, “After the Harvest Moon,” which is set to debut November 27th.

You can stream “Your God’s Within,” out now, and if you like what you hear be sure to follow Grace Gillespie on social media for updates on all things “After the Harvest Moon.”
