Grayscale are not letting the halt on live music stop them from giving fans new content.

The Philadelphia natives announced earlier today that they are gearing up for the release of their new compilation, “Live From The Barber Shop Studios,” a three track EP that will feature reworked songs from their 2019 album “Nella Vita.”

Set to release July 29th, “Live From the Barber Shop Studios,” debuted earlier today with a reworked version of the band’s song “Baby Blue.”

Swapping out the original track’s pop rock styling and adding in a trombone, piano, and saxophone, Grayscale flipped the track to play up big band influences, adding a touch of jazz flair and showcasing their versatility.

“Live From the Barber Shop Studios” was recorded at Barber Shop Studios in northern New Jersey. For more information you can visit their website here.

You can listen to the reworked live version of “Baby Blue” now, and stay tuned to Grayscale’s Spotify and Twitter accounts for updates on future releases and hints at what the next two reworked tracks might be.
