It’s been two years, since Philadelphia’s favorite pop-punk band Grayscale has released new music.

But now, just two weeks after their last album, “Adornment”’s 2 year anniversary, fans have something to celebrate. A new song AND a new music video.

“Painkiller Weather” dropped yesterday, and is the band’s first single since their 2017 Pop goes Punk cover of “Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber.

With the song’s lyrics being all about falling in and out of love, and the struggles of battling an addiction, the song has the band’s classic deeper lyrics set to an upbeat tempo. With pop like guitars and moderate percussion, the song’s message hides slightly in a mainstream sound- a technique Grayscale uses often.

Now, fans are just eagerly awaiting more music from their favorite pop-punkers.

We’ll be waiting for an album, but in the meantime, we’re pretty sure this song will be a summertime favorite.

Be sure to give the song a listen and let us know what you think in the comments.
