After a tumultuous weekend of did they/didn’t they, Philadelphia based Grayscale finally confirmed yesterday that despite their Saturday night shenanigans, they had not actually removed drummer Nick Veno from the band, but rather that his removal was the plot of an upcoming music video.

And today, after posting a teaser yesterday afternoon, the band has released their new music video for “If I Ever See You Again.”

Starring Veno as the main character, the video follows the drummer on a journey through the city after he finds out via text that he has been replaced in the band.

After accidentally throwing his phone and hitting a macho man on the street, Veno is carried into an underground wrestling ring where he must fight his way out.

Then, after defeating all enemies, Veno finds himself in a bar where his former bandmates are playing “If I Ever See You Again,” with their new drummer- someone Veno doesn’t know.

Angry, and now full of confidence and certified fighting skills, Veno approaches the band and cuts off their power. He then insults all of them for kicking him out and being unfair to him.

But the video really takes off when Veno then takes his new found wrestling skills to the test on their new drummer, and… we’ll let you watch the rest for yourselves.
