We wished, we wished, we wished for new music from Hayley Kiyoko, and she has delivered.

Released earlier this morning, “I Wish” is a pop track all about falling in love and having your heart broken.

With a catchy dance beat, the song definitely makes you want to move- all while the lyrics and Kiyoko’s emotional voice break your heart.

In addition to the song itself, the pop star also released a star studded music video- including cameos from Disney’s Madison Pettis, and The Fosters’ Maia Mitchell.

After relaying her mistrials in love, the video shows Kiyoko and friends attempting a spell to make Kiyoko forget about her ex- followed by an incredible dance break starring the singer and a team of backup dancers.

“I Wish” is the first release by Kiyoko since her debut album “Expectations” in 2018.

While the pop star has not confirmed one way or another- we suspect “I Wish” will soon be followed by more tracks and maybe an album announcement?

One can only hope!
