After months of waiting, “Petals For Armor” is finally here.

The debut solo album by Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams, “Petals For Armor” offers fans a glimpse into the mind of Williams as she experiments with lyrics and instrumentals that don’t fit within the world of Paramore.

And we are Here. For. It.

After announcing the project earlier this year, Williams released the album in three parts- beginning with Part I, which included singles “Simmer” and “Cinnamon.”

Williams then announced that Part II- which debuted at the end of last month and featured the extremely personal track “Dead Horse”- would be the final full release prior to the album’s full debut.

And now, the full album is finally here, adding songs “Pure Love,” “Taken,” “Sugar On The Rim,” “Watch Me While I Bloom,” and “Crystal Clear,” to the final collection.

A genre-bending piece, “Petals for Armor” experiments in sounds, lyricism, and instrumentals- ranging from various sources of inspiration within Williams’ realm of imagination.

With tracks for every emotion, the album features songs about love and loss, and finding yourself despite feeling as though your life has been flipped upside down.

Williams used years of hurt to make a masterpiece- and that is something only the best can do.
