We are just three short weeks away from I DON’T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME’s debut album Razzmatazz, but that hasn’t stopped the band from giving us new sneak peaks at their upcoming release.

Originally set to release October 16, the band shared yesterday that their new album Razzmatazz will now be released October 23 as a result of complications related to COVID-19 and its impact on the music industry.

As an apology and show of appreciation for fans and their patience, the band also announced and released their brand new single “New Inventions,” alongside a new lyric video.

A catchy and classic 80s sounding synth filled track, “New Invention” is the third single to be released off of the debut album, following “Leave Me Alone” and the title track.

Repeating the lines “I’m having bad dreams,” and “I am just a new invention,” the track takes listeners on a journey through struggling to fend off anxieties and find your place while living in a world full of horrors and surprises.

There is no safety from these fears even when you’re asleep, and “New Invention” calls that feeling out and helps listeners realize they aren’t alone in their inner battles, while also providing a very groovy dance rhythm that will have you moving and shaking while fending off your own “bad things.”

You can pre-order Razzmatazz now via this link, and be sure to stream “New Inventions” out now to help put you in the perfect spooky season mood.
