Another new music Friday release comes from Love Like Fiction- and it’s perhaps the most inspiring track of the week.

“Misery Maintenance,” which dropped earlier this afternoon is an early 2000s emo inspired song all about managing your mental health with healthier coping mechanisms.

A mix of A Day to Remember, New Found Glory and Mayday Parade-esque sounds, “Misery Maintenance” is the first single to be released from the band’s upcoming EP “New Nostalgia”- release date yet to be announced.

Featuring driving guitar and percussion lines, along with the powerful delivery of emotional lyrics, this track is one of our favorite releases of the week- reminding listeners that they are not alone in the fights they face and that they will come out of it all stronger and healthier.

Love Like Fiction are an Arizona based pop-punk band made up of Tara Goltz, Marin Bridges, Nick Barker, Frankie Stapley and Paul Ritchie.

After forming in 2018, the band has gone on to release several singles alongside their debut EP “Sounds of City Streets,” in addition to performing alongside fellow alternative bands IDKHOW, SWMRS, Bayside, and Sum41.

You can stream “Misery Mainenance” now wherever you stream music, and be sure to stay tuned to Love Like Fiction’s social media accounts to stay up to date on all things “New Nostalgia.”
