Harlem-native singer, songwriter and rapper Melii, also known as the Dominican Mami,  unleashed her 6LACK-assisted relationship-gone-wrong collaboration “You Ain’t Worth It” earlier this month.

The raw and unfiltered delivery finds both 6LACK and Melii ripping their ex-lovers to shreds with lyrics such as “I might just pull up just to stunt on you, ‘Cause you deserve it” while 6LACK dismisses his ex by moodily singing “Outta everything on my list of things that’s worth it, I did not find you.”

The collaborators trade off over a smooth, guitar-laden beat provided by Fort Lauderdale producer Z3N. Their chemistry is evident as they seamlessly switch from rhyming to crooning.

Essentially, the track is about finding your strength and walking away from a toxic relationship. Once you realise that someone isn’t worth it then take Melii’s advice when she sings, “I might just flex up on my ex and let it go-go.”

Melii is a superstar in the making, fusing her Latin roots with her undeniable charm and ability to rap in both English and Spanish. She is preparing to make big moves in the new year so stay tuned by following here on her socials:
