Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Mimoza has all of the makings of a superstar, and her latest single is only further proof that her career is about to skyrocket.

After penning a number of internationally acclaimed tracks, including her recent success “Kings & Queens” performed by Ava Max, Mimoza has had her fair share of experience working behind the scenes. And with over 100 million combined streams on her solo releases thus far, it is time for Mimoza to further push her way into the spotlight and show everyone that her talents don’t only lie in song writing.

A pop anthem that puts Mimoza’s vocals on full display, “Young Queen” was heavily inspired by lessons the singer’s mother taught her regarding knowing her worth- as well as a deep sense of pride for the culture of her home country.

With lyrics about falling in love and teaching a future partner how to create a mutually respectful relationship, “Young Queen” is a perfect reminder to fans to never let someone treat you as less than you deserve, while also encouraging relationships that are light and fun.

And with the track’s new music video showcasing beautiful scenery and outfits that pay a special homage to her home country of Kosovo, Mimoza makes it clear that despite her Los Angeles residency, she still is deeply connected to her roots.

“This record is my love letter to Kosovo, the place that made me & raised me,” Mimoza shared via Instagram.
