Frankie Jonas’ older brother is taking a step back out on his own this week with the announcement of his upcoming single “Spaceman.”

After putting a brief pause on his solo career (save for a few features and The Voice) after the infamous Jonas Brothers reunion in 2019, Nick Jonas is now making his return to the studio- alone.

Announced this morning, “Spaceman” is set to debut this Thursday, and will be Jonas’ first solo track since 2017’s “Find You.”

And though the track came with no news regarding what this means for the future of his solo career, the news subsequently sent fans into a frenzy both wondering what this means for the brothers and wondering what the new song would sound like.

But that’s not the only big news Jonas had to break today. Coinciding with the single announcement it has also been announced that Jonas will be both the musical guest and host of next week’s Saturday Night Live, which will air the 27th at 11:30pm EST.

You can pre-save “Spaceman,” now, and be sure to tune into next week’s SNL to see Jonas show off the best of both is vocal talents and acting chops.
