On The Outside are here to remind listener’s just how beautiful they all are with the release of their new single, “How Beautiful.”
Inspired by the slew of negativity all over social media regarding beauty and diet cultures, as well as an increased presence of appearance altering filters, various challenges, etc. that all have people around the world feeling less than ideal, the Los Angeles based pop group On The Outside have written the track “How Beautiful” to remind their fans and listeners alike that they are worth more than their insecurities.
Using the band’s mix of boyband inspired pop and a dash of country flair, “How Beautiful” praises each person’s individuality and serves as the perfect self-love anthem.
“‘How Beautiful’ is a song about the true inner beauty we all have and how our insecurities just make us unique and perfectly designed,” the band shares. “It represents everything we stand for as a band, supporting each other in love and positivity and accepting each other’s differences as beauty and not flaws.”
In addition to the new single the band are also launching their own “Make Positivity Go Viral” campaign in order to help their fans bring an extra bit of sunshine to social media.
In a partnership with The Jed Foundation (JED), a non profit organization dedicated to providing help and resources to teens and young adults struggling with mental health, the band are encouraging fans to share what makes their friends and family beautiful both on and offline- attempting to remind everyone that beauty standards and social media culture do not define their worth or value.
The campaign will be officially launching on March 8th, coincidentally both International Women’s Day and the day the “How Beautiful” music video drops, but fans are encouraged to begin spreading the joy ASAP.
