Released this morning, “Middle of the Night” is an electro-pop anthem seeped in positivity and empowerment.
Inspired by singer/songwriter Ale Gibson’s own battles with mental health, the new single was written as a catchy, dance inspiring ode to standing up and fighting back against your inner demons.
Featuring lyrics such as “we’re feeling alright, we’re shining bright in the middle of the night,” and “we follow our hearts,” the track reminds listeners that they too can find an internal place of love and positivity.
And though they acknowledge the struggle and difficulty with achieving this sort of mindset- as battling mental illness is not easy- with this new single ØPALS is here to help and offer a glimmer of hope.
