This is Why we love Paramore.
Celebrating the 2nd anniversary of their latest album, This is Why, Paramore have released a new collection of fan designed merchandise that encapsulate both the feeling of the album, and the artistic freedom behind it.
Featuring artists CJ Pangindian, Brian Robert Jones, Ilaria Palmieri, Eleanor Osada, Tanu, and Maria (Mar) Castillo Lopez, the new collection offers fans a handful of new merchandise designs, including several t-shirts, sweatshirts, a mug, tarot cards, a woven blanket, and tote bags, all of which take inspiration from both the band itself and the album This is Why.
With each artist also getting a brief bio and the ability to explain their specific relationship to both Paramore and their designs on the webstore as well, each piece gives fans a glimpse into the artistic process- something that most merch drops don’t allow- making it even all the more special to be celebrating such a groundbreaking band and record.
This release marks the second artist collaboration Paramore have done, and through both the band have made sure that all artists are properly paid for their work, stating that collaborator will be paid via a fee up front for their designs and will also receive royalties from each piece sold.
You can check out all of the new designs here, and be sure to follow Paramore via the links below to stay up to date on all new announcements (which hopefully will include new music).
