Real Friends Merch Sale Causes Breakup Speculation

Real Friends are having a sale, and now thousands of fans are questioning the band’s future.

Earlier this afternoon, the Illinois natives posted a merch advertisement that read “EVERYTHING MUST GO,” followed by “we’re closing like K-Mart.”

Now, fans everywhere are speculating that the band will soon be announcing their breakup.

This post comes just one hour prior to bassist Kyle Fasel posting a poem that reads “Don’t let the passing of time decide whether or not you should stay.”

The caption on Fasel’s poem read:

Don’t stay in a situation solely based on how long you’ve been in it. It’s hard to say goodbye, but sometimes that’s what you need to do in order to grow.

Some hopeful fans have suggested that this sale could be the result in re-branding of the band, but most fans are just begging the band to “say sike.”
