Riot Fest is officially postponed.
But fear not festival goers, for the festival is still on for 2021, and the lineup has not changed. In fact, it’s gotten a whole lot better.
With My Chemical Romance still slated to headline, the Chicago based festival announced earlier this afternoon that the 2020 dates will be moving to 2021, and will be running from September 16th through 19th
And in addition to the kings of emo, Riot Fest announced the full first wave of performers, including The Smashing Pumpkins, Run The Jewels, Pixies, and our personal favorites: Taking Back Sunday, Simple Plan, Mayday Parade, Boston Manor, and Meet Me @ The Altar.
As for those who purchased tickets for the 2020 dates, the festival organizers assure buyers that their tickets will remain valid for the new dates, in addition to granting them access to a special preview show the Thursday before the 2021 festival begins.
Three day passes for 2021 are on sale now, and be sure to stay tuned to the Riot Fest socials for the full lineup announcement.
