It is a good week to be a fan of Selfish Tings.

Not only did the band join TikTok and create several *ahem* odd videos, but they’ve also released TWO songs this week- one piano rendition of their last single “Hole,” and today, an entirely new track and music video titled “Blood.”

“Blood,” which dropped at midnight is the fifth single to be released off of the band’s upcoming album “Logos,” and features guest vocals from Andy Leo of Crown the Empire.

The song and video are both much darker than the band’s previous releases, something frontman Alex Biro took to social media to address with fans who wondered what inspired the track.

The slow intro and gradual build up of gritty tones- along with intense visuals- give fans a closer look into what the band’s sophomore album will have to offer- and poses a great contrast to other “Logos” tracks “Pride” and “Synaptic.”

You can check out Selfish Thing’s previous singles now, streaming on Spotify and Apple Music, and if you like what you’ve heard so far be sure to pre-order “Logos” ahead of it’s September 20th release here.
