Fans of the “Trash-Pop” band, Simple Creatures, can finally rest easy as the debut EP “Strange Love” has arrived and it does not disappoint. The band has been quite active lately, especially after the release of their third single “Adrenaline” only 4 days prior to the EP release.

When long time friends, Alex Gaskarth and Mark Hoppus announced the side project a few months ago, they released their first single “Drug” to accompany the news of their new band.

This was the beginning of the journey that lead to one of our new favorite EP’s.

At the time eagerness and excitement filled the hearts of fans around the world, as the supergroup hit the ground running, prepared to introduce what they’ve been creating in secrecy.

Following their quick success, many fans were left wanting more. It didn’t take them long to put out their second single “Strange Love”.

The official title track was announced hand in hand with the release date for their EP.

Today, Gaskarth and Hoppus finally released the debut EP and it is without a doubt, a jam from start to finish.

It contains six songs, the three previously released as singles (Drug, Strange Love, & Adrenaline) and the three new tracks “Ether”, “How To Live” and “Lucy”.

Each bringing their own flavor to the table through their unique composition and elements which really helps to display Simple Creatures’ far from simple sound.

Since its release at midnight, “Strange Love” has received rave reviews, many taking to twitter and letting the band know what their favorite track is.

Not everybody can agree on what song is their favorite which really indicates that it has that special track for just about everyone.

Currently, Simple Creatures has ventured out on a small five show tour. With four shows remaining, they are completely sold out but if you can manage to find one ticket, you most definitely do not want to miss out on the fun!
