Taylor Swift is the queen of writing emotionally provocative songs that describe the exact feelings we all go through when dating, living and loving.

And from a young age, Swift has become one of the most iconic breakup track writers of all time- which she has once more confirmed with the release of her new single “Mr. Perfectly Fine.”

The latest single to be released from the highly anticipated re-recording of Fearless (Taylor’s Version) which releases this Friday, “Mr. Perfectly Fine” shares the singer’s experience going through a breakup in which the other party walked away unscathed and she was left heartbroken.

With a cool pop meets subtly country feel, which honors the original album perfectly, the single puts Swift’s writing skills on display as well as giving fans a glimpse into her world back at the time of writing.

And though the singer did make jokes about the song’s contents before releasing- hinting that it would be a scathing recount of a past public relationship- fans have eagerly taken to social media to share their own reactions to the song, which is speculated to be about Swift’s famous first breakup with Joe Jonas.

But fans weren’t the only ones who joined in on the fun, as Jonas’ wife, actress Sophie Turner, shared on her Instagram story that the song was “not NOT a bop.”

“Mr. Perfectly Fine” follows fellow “from the vault” track “You All Over Me” which features country singer Maren Morris.

Fans can stream both tracks now, and stay tuned for Fearless (Taylor’s Version) out Friday.
