Colorado based quartet The Autos are making their official debut this week with the release of their new single “Trespass.”
Debuted on Friday, officially kicking off the new year in the best way, “Trespass” is the band’s first release as a group, featuring John Brown’s Body’s vocalist Elliot Martin.
Made up of members Ian Gastl, Nick Wimer, Taylor Kaufman and Pancho Tranmer, The Autos use their debut single to channel a Jamaican reggae meets rock sound- giving listeners a relaxed feel good vibe.
Heavily focused on the production of their music more so than just being another band, the group refer to themselves as “production environment with live instrumentation,” and carefully craft every aspect of their music in order to connect with listeners in new and meaningful ways. This especially rings true for “Trespass,” which marked a number of important milestones for the group.
“This is a special single because it’s our first release as a production team,” the band shared. “And, around the same time as we were making plans to release the song, Ian was also told he was in remission. Great vibes for us all around.”
