They may not be punk, and they may not be emo, but they are back and it is rocking the music world.

That’s right, the Jonas Brothers have returned.

And not only have they returned- they brought a new song and video with them.

As a new age synth-pop inspired song, “Sucker” brings not only each brother’s individual sound, but also gives us an idea of what their future music will sound like.

And, the music video not only showcases both the brothers’ new looks and sound- but also the new additions to their lives: Priyanka, Sophie, and Danielle.

But we’ll let you see what we mean for yourselves.

When the news broke yesterday morning that the Jonas Brothers were reuniting- fan twitter broke out in hysterics and the inner 12 year old fangirl in everyone came out to share their excitement.

And just when fans thought the week couldn’t get any better, Late Late Show host James Corden announced that all three brothers will be on his show ALL WEEK LONG.

“Sucker” is the first song released by the Jonas Brothers since their live album, which was released in 2013 shortly after the band announced their split due to “creative differences.”

Since the split, Joe Jonas has become the frontman for electro pop band DNCE, and Nick has pursued a successful solo career.

And though Kevin has not continued making music publically, he has started a family with his wife Danielle and daughters Alena and Valentina.

Rumors first began of a reunion on Wednesday night, after all of the verified Jonas Brothers’ social media accounts “blacked out” and changed all icons to blank black photos.

It wasn’t until Thursday morning though that the news was confirmed via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

But the reunion hasn’t left a good taste in everyone’s mouth. Some other fans and band members are feeling a little bit jipped by the big announcement.

Including our own scene’s Ryan Scott Graham, who joked that State Champs’ new video release has been overshadowed by the JoBro news.

Graham and his bandmates then changed their minds, releasing their own “tables have turned” video asking the Bros to take them on tour.

Twin XL’s Cameron Walker also got in on the JoBro action as he teased their new EP, which dropped at the same time as “Sucker.”

But nobody has been hit harder by this reunion news than One Direction fans, who have been patiently waiting for a reunion since the band’s hiatus in 2016.

Maybe in a few more years the pop world can have both boy bands back in action. And who knows- maybe they’ll tour together.

But for now, welcome back Jonas Brothers. The world needed you.
