Just a little over one year after their last release, soft rock emo band This Wild Life are back with a new track that will *change everything.*

“You Changed Everything” is the first single by the Californian duo since their LP “Petaluma” last summer, and it was well worth the wait.

The new release also came with a new music video- and in tradition with the band’s previous releases, it is one that is rather unique.

Dressed up in suits and sunflower boutonnieres, the duo stood in an elevator for three hours serenading passengers with their new track, all while handing out sunflowers and champagne to riders who wanted to participate in the fun.

And based on the crowd reactions in the video, it looks like TWL gained a few fans.

But, more importantly than the enjoyable video, the song itself is an undeniable bop that will have you swaying and singing along halfway through your first listen.

And it is also an undeniable love song and is one of the band’s few happy songs- something the band often joke about considering their history of being the kings of emo breakup tracks.
