Today is a special day for Twenty One Pilots fans across the globe. As part of their new project called the “Location Sessions”, they’ve released an edited, stripped down version along with the alternate title “Chlorine (19.4326 N, 99.1332 W).”
The newest version of “Chlorine” certainly has more emphasis on the vocal track rather than the instrumentals and overall it feels a little darker and slightly more meaningful because of the focal point being on Tylers lyrics.
We aren’t entirely sure where this “Location Sessions” is planning on going or what upcoming tracks are set to be re-released as stripped down versions of themselves but were absolutely on board with whatever they decide to do with it.
The excitement hit the fan base quite hard today as they were sent into a frenzy following the discovery of track.
There was no preparation for any sort of new release given Twenty One Pilots didn’t make an announcement on any social media platform prior to its release.
One thing is for sure, if you’ve enjoyed Twenty One Pilots music and evolution over the years, you will most definitely have this edited version on repeat for a few weeks…at minimum.
Only the future will tell what the “Location Sessions” holds for their music but I think I speak for just about everyone when I say that were incredibly eager to find out. If the first track is any indication of what’s to come then we have plenty to look forward to.
