The music video for “The Hype” is finally here and you should most certainly believe the hype surrounding it.

Twenty One Pilots released Trench, their fifth studio album last October and it quickly became a hit. From “Nico And The Niners” to “Smithereens”, the album had it all but I think it’s safe to say one of the tracks that deserved the most attention was and still is, “The Hype”.

Tyler and Josh have been on the Trench world tour since its release last year and while their show has been nothing short of phenomenal, we couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed that “The Hype wasn’t part of the setlist.

Due to some subtle changes overtime, it has been added recently and for those that have had the opportunity to see them play it live, they can certainly expect it to be part of their setlist again when “The Bandito Tour” makes it way to a town near you for their Fall tour.

The music video is quite an interesting one. With the majority of it taking place in a eerie house/neighborhood, the overall atmosphere suits the track quite well.

It follows their journey as a band, from living room shows, to playing in garages, to making a name for themselves and pushing their careers to the point that it’s at currently.

Both Tyler and Josh always know how to showcase their musical talent as well as their ability to create a unique visual representation of their tracks that capture exactly what you’d expect from the duo.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to see them while they’ve been on tour, don’t miss out on buying tickets to “The Bandito Tour” which went on-sale just last week.
