Lauv’s “Lonely Eyes” is getting a pop-rock makeover.
Released earlier today, famed Mayday Parade drummer Jake Bundrick has taken the pop star’s single and given it a bit of a rock upgrade as the latest single to be released by his solo project- Via Fiori.
“Lonely Eyes” is the fourth single to be released by Via Fiori, following debut tracks “Call to Arms,” “I Need This More” and “Don’t Bother.”
Taking Lauv’s lead, Bundrick gives the song slightly heavier percussion, and replaces some of the electronic elements of the original track with guitar and live instrumentals.
And while these few elements are changed, Bundrick does stick to the song’s overall pop roots, giving Via Fiori fans a look at the band’s range, and potentially the vibe of future songs.
You can stream “Lonely Eyes,” along with all of Via Fiori’s past singles now, wherever you stream music.
