Family is one of the most important parts of life. Whether it be blood relatives or chosen companions, family is often the glue that helps to hold us together and hold us up when we feel like we are falling.
For trained martial artist and actor Jeff Wolfe- his family is also what helped make him truly feel like a hero, and now his band’s new single “Survivor” is letting us all know just that.
Released on Friday, “Survivor” tells the story of kicking ass and taking names- as Wolfe often did throughout his career as an actor fighting alongside Marvel superheroes and bad guys alike. But instead of focusing on the cool stories and wins he had during his career, Wolfe shares an honest and emotional take on how being a father and starting a family is truly the best honor in his life.
With raspy folk meets rock tinged vocals, Wolfe is joined by bandmate James Noon on guitar- adding an upbeat tempo and groove to the sweet track. And with bass and percussion keeping the beats alive, the track comes together to form a perfect family friendly anthem that will have any member of the clan feeling happy to be alive and be loved.
“I’m not saying I’m invincible
No I’m not saying I’m invincible
I’m a father
I’m a hundred feet high
Still higher, then I’d ever thought I’d rise

Wolfe Hybrid debuted earlier this year with their single “Borrowed Time,” officially becoming Film/TV star turned musician Jeff Wolfe’s main outlet for creativity.
A partnership with songwriter and guitarist James Noon, Wolfe Hybrid are just beginning their adventure together, but with a full length album on the horizon and two well written tracks in their portfolio, we are sure they will be around for quite some time.
You can stream “Survivor” out now, and be sure to follow on the band on social media to stay up to date on all things Wolfe Hybrid.
