Young Culture are up to something, and after spending nearly three hours searching the internet to find out what- we are coming to this post confused, hopefully, and potentially heartbroken?

Let’s dive in.

After Young Culture’s vocalist Alex Magnan took to Twitter yesterday Sept. 7 to announce that he was “so so so f*cking tired,” fellow YC members Gabe Pietrafesa and Troy Burchett took to Magnan’s reply section to rip him apart.

With Pietrafesa replying “sick man glad to see you’re sub tweeting abt it. that’ll help!” followed by Bruchett throwing in some clown emojis, Magnan changed his account’s settings to private and told the duo to “grow up.”

Then, after liking a few tweets throwing some love at the band, Magnan’s account went silent.

But that hasn’t stopped Burchett or Pietrafesa from sharing their thoughts with followers.

Making several references to the group turned solo career of Beyoncé, Burchett and Pietrafesa exchanged a few indirect quips hinting that Magnan is a “diva” and that he was going from “destiny child to solo project,” subsequently sending fans into a tizzy.

Pietrafesa also tweeted the news that before going private Magnan unfollowed both other band members and is reportedly refusing to “answer his phone.”

This supposed “beef” comes just three days after the YC joint account tweeted a gif of Burchett and Pietrafesa kissing Magnan on the cheeks with the note “nothing to share really. just thought y’all would like to see this.”

Some fans are theorizing (re: hoping) that this is just a publicity stunt to help promote a presumed upcoming single, similar to that of Grayscale last year when they faked kicking drummer Nick Veno out of the band ahead of a music video release.

However, with no real confirmation of what is happening or cross platform drama- as all members are still following each other on Instagram, though Magnan’s photos are now all archived- we are left wondering the same thing as Gabe:
