Electronic music sensation Zedd and rising pop star Griff made waves earlier this year with the release of their collaborative track “Inside Out,” and now are once more grabbing our attention with their new music video.
Staring the UK based songstress, the video for “Inside Out” begins with Griff sneaking onto a large property while a second Griff watches from a control room of sorts.
After putting a pause on the video game she is seen playing with Zedd, the singer then enters a large maze where she encounters her duplicate and begins following her to find out what she is up to.
And though this marks the third video Zedd has released to accompany this track, following a lyric and a dance video, it is easily the most captivating.
With gravity defying visuals and the catchy, uplifting track playing in the background, the video is visually stunning- using color contrast to display dual personalities that exist between the two Griffs as well as a dark turning light aesthetic to match the song’s tone.
And though the song appears to be telling the story of loving a partner through thick and thin, the new video has some fans questioning if the song is actually about self love.
“Is the theme of this video self love during the pandemic? That’s what I came up with,” one fan shared in the video’s comments. Another adding “Everyone who listens to this song is getting healed.”
You can stream “Inside Out” now wherever you stream music, and be sure to check out the new music video, linked above.
