Some of the world’s greatest performers get their starts as artists working behind the scenes, and Ava Kay is no different. 

Formerly part of electronic duo Boss & Swan, Kay has built quite a portfolio as a songwriter. Working on several international radio hits, award winning movie scores for film and TV, and with renowned producers such as Afrojack, there has been nothing Kay has tried musically that she can’t do successfully. 

And now, to further prove her talents, Kay has stepped out on her own to release her debut solo single “Wild Again.”

Described as a “cinematic single,” “Wild Again,” is a full bodied ode to being completely enthralled in another person and the unpredictability that comes along with letting go of your plans. 

Carried equally in parts by Kay’s vocals and the track’s instrumentals- which feature a piano that fluctuates in tone with each verse and full orchestral sound provided by a strong string section, “Wild Again” both showcases Kay’s songwriting and performance abilities and gives listeners an insight into the future of her solo career. 

“I often crave calm, reflective music myself and I wanted to be able to create songs that were true to that, while still making records that people can connect to without it feeling too insular,” Kay shares. “Wild Again feels like all that without any compromises.”
