After the massive success of “Emiliana, love nwantiti”, CKay has teamed up with Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido and South Africa’s Amapiano new school hitmakers Focalistic and Abidoza.
The new single “Watawi” (what are we?) covers a familiar topic when the question of adding a label to whatever it is that’s going on comes up. CKay commented that “A lot of people have been in tricky situations when their “situationship” attempts to push things further than it needs to be…Sometimes it’s best to let things be and just vibe without the pressure of defining the nature of the relationship.”
The fusion of Davido with Abidoza’s Amapiano production, Focalistic’s Sipotori rap and CKay’s smooth vocals make this a true smash hit. It’s catchy and easy to vibe to.
