Today is yet another day full of news for Mayday Parade fans- once again surrounding lead singer Derek Sanders.
After announcing a three stop solo tour yesterday, the Mayday Parade frontman has now announced the upcoming release of a full solo EP, titled “My Rock and Roll Heart.”
The EP, which is Sander’s first solo project since joining Mayday Parade, will feature five tracks, all of which are covers of songs that Sanders has connected with over his time in the industry.
“When I started getting into music, I got an acoustic guitar when I was ten years old. I spent all of my time with that guitar, just learning to play and writing my first songs,” Sanders shared.
“I’ve been in so many bands since then, and it’s cool to go back to playing acoustic and singing the way it all started.”
