As we get older and begin to understand the financial burdens that come with becoming an adult and the stress our parents go through to make sure we are brought up in the best environments possible, we begin to realize that it will soon be our jobs to take control and earn a living.

It is that drive to succeed, the dedication to hustling until your dreams come true, and the desire to help give back to your family that inspired the latest single by JAGMAC- aptly titled “Motivation.”

A group made up of six siblings, Jared, Angelique, Gabriel, Manjo, Alyssa, and CJ, JAGMAC is a rising pop group that are here to dominate the charts.

Channeling their cultural roots as half-Filipino and half-Polish Americans, JAGMAC take elements from a wide variety of cultures to create music that moves you both physically and emotionally. And their latest single is no different.

Released this morning, “Motivation” samples classic pop rhythms infused with latin and island-inspired raps and features several lyrical references to the sibling’s cultural upbringing. Citing that they “learned it from my people, that’s just how we sway,” the song pays homage to their ancestors and family’s drive to succeed and acknowledges their dedication to taking over the financial stress their parent’s may be dealing with in order to help everyone live a calmer and care-free life.

In addition to the new song, the band also released a new music video to go along with its debut.

Staring the band’s six members and showcasing the odd or low paying jobs they’ve worked in order to help get some money in the bank, the video visually shows their drive to succeed and how they have hustled to get where they are today- ending with a full band performance at a fun friend-filled party.

A perfect reminder that all it takes is a little motivation, and you too can reach for your dreams.
