There is some hope yet for 2021 and the return of live music.

Announced this past week, The Long Center for Performing Arts and Luck Reunion have teamed up to create an outdoor spring festival that has us eagerly awaiting our own return to local venues.

After successfully holding outdoor concerts in the late summer and fall of 2020, Long Center and Luck Reunion have just announced a four day socially distant concert series that will allow guests to watch some of their favorite acts, get fresh air, and enjoy the presence of live music once more.

Sponsored by White Claw, the festival series is aptly named Long Live Music, and will feature some local as well as touring musicians. Performers will include Patty Griffin and Carrie Rodriguez (March 27), Billy Strings (March 28), Nikki Lane and Jade Bird with Sir Woman (April 3) and Gospel Sunday Revival featuring Blind Boys of Alabama (April 4).

Tickets are available now in limited quantities via the Long Center’s website. Each ticket will accommodate a designated area on the lawn that can fit up to 4 guests.

Each ticket will also donate a portion of proceeds to Musically fed, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping musicians and industry workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic .
