Oh, Weatherly Reimagine “Lips Like Oxygen”

Last year pop rock band Oh, Weatherly released their debut album “Lips Like Oxygen,” and now they are ready to reimagine those same tracks into something new.

Monday, the band released “Lips Like Oxygen Reimagined,” a three track EP that transformed previous tracks “Chasing California,” “I Think I Want You,” and “Dark of the Night” from up beat rock songs into acoustic ballads.

The new tracks are titled “You Were The Letdown (Chasing California),” “Without My Ring (I Think I Want You),” and “We’re Doing Fine (Dark of the Night),” all of which are plays on lyrics from the original songs.

Oh, Weatherly are not the first band to reimagine their previous tracks, either. Just a few months ago With Confidence released their reimagined version of their song “Paquerette (Without Me),” titled “Without Me (Paquerette).” And, last year, The Maine released an entire album of acoustic versions of some of their favorite songs.

What bands do you hope will reimagine old tracks next? Let us know in the comments, and be sure to check out “Lips Like Oxygen Reimagined” on Spotify or Apple Music now!
