Texas based alternative rockers Post Profit are giving fans some new content this month with the release of their new single “Better Off.”
Featuring Jonathan Jourdan (To Whom It May) “Better Off” is the band’s second release of the year, following February’s “When You Think It’s Right.” And though the band took a year off from releasing new music prior- these two releases more than make up for it.
Released this past Friday, “Better Off” is an alternative meets grunge track that explores human nature and existence.
Examining the close knit relationships between hate and love and making a commentary on the lack of trust between both humans and humans vs the media, the song encourages listeners to take the future into their own hands. There is no hope without action, and that action can start with a little bit of love.
Giving fans a bit of a glimpse into what future Post Profit releases may sound like, this track solidifies that they are a band to watch.
