It may be criminal how long it took State Champs to release a new music video, but the time has come.

The pop-punkers have finally released the music video for their single “Criminal.”

As the leading track off of their latest album “Living Proof,” “Criminal” is the third single off of the album to receive a music video- following behind “Dead and Gone” and “Our Time To Go.”

The video, which debuted on Billboard earlier this afternoon, documents one man’s journey to find and buy a 5th generation iPod in a world full of airpods, cults, dead bodies, and more. But we’ll let you watch it without spoiling the full story.

And while the video’s plot can stand alone, Billboard’s Taylor Weatherby hints that there may be more to the story than it seems.

Perhaps this video is one of many in a music video series following the life of this single iPod- which was ALSO the star of the “Dead and Gone” video?

After all, it seems the band’s bassist Ryan Scott Graham has hinted at more videos, after posting the announcement on twitter with the caption “The saga continues.”

Either way- we’re excited about “Criminal” and all future videos, along with the beginning of the band’s Living Proof Tour, which  kicks off Friday after a college show tonight in Pittsburgh.
